André Bogaert is a Belgian painter and assembly artist. He is a founding member of the G-58 Hessenhuis group and is best known for his abstract paintings and his assembly reliefs.

Except for some figurative works in his early period, Bogaert painted mainly abstract until 1964. Afterwards he went on to make assembly reliefs with wood, leather and felt. Since the introduction of polyester around 1970, he also used this material in his work.

The works of 'Dré Bogaert' belong to the permanent collections of, among others, the SMAK in Ghent and the Museum of Modern Art in Brussels.
