Koor, alias Charles Hargrove, was born in New York. Currently, he lives and works Brussel.

Koor himself defines his work as  ‘Futuristic Symbolism’. His oeuvre is part of the Tag Art, better known as graffiti art. The artists' name ‘Koor’ refers to the English word rook, the chess piece. It symbolizes his love for architectural elements.
