This young Belgian artist is fascinated by sound. As a musician, he experiments with 'new sound' by cirquit bending and by the making of experimental instruments.

Thomas Betsens folowed mixed media at the Academy of arts in Ghent. Far before this training, he sought methods for making sound 'a tangible shape'. In the recent years, he has been researching 'biofeedback' in which the sensations of the audience and the musicians themselves influence the music.
